I handed off my first real commission today. [link] For a second and a half I almost felt like a professional artist! haha My Aunt says she wants to take the painting to work and show all the "rich" doctors and my Uncle thinks I should have business cards printed. Oh boy. :p I'm just glad that they like it. I thought my Aunt was going to cry when I gave it to her today, she was so happy.

So next on the agenda is to finally get started on the drawing I've been planning to do for my boyfriend.  The problem is that I have so many ideas and I'm not really sure which ones I want to run with. Also, drawing things from my head is always a bit of a challenge. Reference photos must be gathered. But that is my next mission! :)

So "about me" huh? I have lived in New England my whole life (and yes I love it up here!) I don't mind the cold; it's refreshing. :) I love being outdoors; especially in the forest or at the beach. I like to draw and paint (DUH.) Art is my passion and I would love to have been in Europe during the Renaissance. I'm really into Rock music (old and new) but am also open to most other genres of music. I love going to live shows; they are the best! My favorite band is 30 Seconds to Mars.. and they are the coolest guys I know! I graduated from college with a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology (and a minor in Art) and I recently finished getting my Master's in Environmental Law and Policy (Law school is hard!) I hope to someday be working to protect our beautiful planet and making lots of art!
